NHRA US MAC Tools Nationals Photos Best of the Best

What an awesome weekend for the NHRA US MAC Tools Nationals here in Indy at O’Reilly Raceway Park. You couldn’t have asked for better weather or a better race. The event was absolutely amazing and one of the best I’ve attended in a long time. If you’ve never been to an NHRA event then these photos just won’t do it for you and trust me your missing out, get to one soon.

I attended Friday for qualifying, watched Ashley Force run a 4.0 pass which was truly ground shaking and impressive. Check out the video in my previous post and turn your volume up!

NASCAR Announces 2011 Schedules

NASCAR announced the 2011 schedule for its three national series, highlighted by several key changes for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. One of those changes comes early, as the second race of the season will be held at Phoenix International Raceway on Feb. 27, a week after the season-opening Daytona 500.

PIR replaces Auto Club Speedway in Week 2. Texas Motor Speedway fills in the vacated Phoenix spot on Saturday, April 9. Southern California’s Auto Club Speedway will now run its race date on March 27.
